Knitting Pattern in English for an Oversized Sweater with a Classic Fit, a Delicate Lace Pattern Alternated by a Ribbed Pattern, a Round Neck and Classic Cuffs, Hem and Collar in 1x1 Half Twisted Ribbing in Sizes XS | S | M(L | XL | 2XL) 3XL | 4XL | 5XL.
 
Structure:
The sweater is worked top down in one piece in lace pattern alternated by a ribbed pattern: First, the back part is worked back and forth in rows with increases along the shoulder lines to achieve a good fit around the shoulders. Then, the back part is finished without increases until the armpits. The back part stitches are now put on hold and the front parts are worked separately from each other with increases to shape the round neck and in a lace pattern alternated by a ribbed pattern. Finally, front and back part are joined under the armpits and the body of the sweater is finished in lace pattern alternated by a ribbed pattern in the round and finished off with a hem in 1x1 half twisted ribbing.
Now, pick up stitches along the armholes for the sleeves and work the sleeve in the lace pattern alternated by the ribbed pattern in the round, until the sleeves reach shortly before your wrists. Work a few decreases and then finish off the sleeves with cuffs in 1x1 half twisted ribbing, matching the body hem of the sweater. Last, but not least, the round neck is finished with a double folded collar in 1x1 half twisted ribbing. 
The sweater has an oversized fit with drop shoulders and a short body length. The simple elegance of the sweater is emphasized by the delicate lace pattern – alternated by a classic ribbed pattern.
