Knitting Pattern in French for a romantic and festive sweater with a deep back closed with a voluminous bow in sizes XS | S | M (L | XL | XXL).
 
Structure:
The sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch back and forth in rows from top to bottom with raglan increases. To shape the round neck, the shoulder parts are worked separately at first, before they are joined at the front part. From then onwards, the sweater is worked in one piece back and forth in rows in stockinette stitch. Additionally to the raglan increases in every right side row, there are additional increases in every 6th row (every 3rd right side row) to shape the back of the sweater. As soon as the sleeves are separated from the body, there are more increases for several rows until the body of the sweater is finished without any increases and casted off with an i-Cord edging. In the next step, stitches are picked up along the neat edges of the back part to work a long tie on each side of the back part, which will be later closed to the voluminous bow. An applied i-cord edging is attached to the long ties as well as to the neckline of front and back part. Then the sleeves are finished in stockinette stitch in rounds and shaped with some decreases shortly before casting off all sts with an i-cord edging too.
The fit of the sweater is a little bit loose, but you can adjust the fit due to the bow at the back part – if you prefer a tighter fit, just close the bow tighter around your waist. If you are in between two sizes, choose the smaller size. The length of the sweater is
meant to be quite short to make it perfect for long and festive dresses or high waisted jeans, but of course you are welcome to adjust the lengths due to your individual preferences.

-  5 and 3.5 mm circular knitting needles, DPNs 3.5 mm and optional 5 mm short needles/DPNs for the sleeves

-  Stitch markers or left overs
 
Knitting Tension:
10x10 cm = 15 sts x 24 rs in stockinette stitch with 2 threads of yarn held together on 5 mm knitting needles (wet blocked)

Bust circumference finished sweater:
90 | 96 | 102 (111 | 122 | 130) cm with a positive ease of around 5 to 12 cm
Length:
44 | 47| 50 (53 | 55 | 58) cm - the length can be adapted individually
Sleeve length: 
around 45 cm measured from the armpits onwards
Sleeve circumference: 42 | 45 | 48 (52 | 53 | 56) cm
